Helping you and your horse have a great ride!
Horses have always been at the heart of Savannah's life. After catching the "horse bug" at a young age, she devoted herself to learning everything she could about horses, spending countless hours training and expanding her knowledge. Her journey began with Off-the-Track Thoroughbreds (OTTBs), helping them transition from racing careers into successful riding horses. Through years of riding, showing, and working with these incredible athletes, Savannah developed a passion for helping every horse reach its full potential. Inspired by her own young OTTB, Winston Equestrian LLC was born.
As her experience grew, so did her desire to better understand the horse beyond what could be seen under saddle. She knew there had to be more to helping horses not only perform at their best but also feel their best. Her background in nursing and her love for anatomy led her search to the Masterson Method®, where she quickly fell in love with the horse-centered, light touch approach, and the relaxation and connection it created. Inspired by the positive changes she witnessed and over 400 hours of hands on clinical application, Savannah became a Masterson Method Certified Practitioner (MMCP) in 2026.
Today, Savannah combines her experience as a rider with her knowledge of equine bodywork to provide a well-rounded approach to horse and rider development. She is currently training her young OTTB, Winston, to event and actively participates in lessons with upper level clinicians in the south eastern U.S. By integrating Masterson Method® Equine Bodywork with riding and groundwork sessions, she helps horses move more freely, improve comfort, build confidence, and perform to the best of their abilities. Whether working with a horse recovering from physical tension, developing new skills, or simply striving for greater harmony, Savannah is committed to creating individualized programs that support both horse and rider.
Savannah firmly believes that education is a lifelong journey. She is continually studying equine anatomy, biomechanics, movement, behavior, training, and overall wellness to better serve the horses and owners she works with. As the saying goes, the more you learn, the more you realize there is still so much to discover!
